“Twilight” author Stephanie Meyer is scheduled to do a rare interview with non other than Oprah. The sit down will air this Friday, November 13th, one week before the release of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" in theaters. Meyer has been on a self-imposed sort of hibernation since 2008 when “Breaking Dawn” (the fourth and last book in the “Twilight Saga”) was released.
She did do some interviews for the movie version of “Twilight” but since then she's all but disappeared. Many fans (including myself) have been waiting to hear from her. I'm not sure what I want to hear but I want to hear something! I know we all wonder if she'll ever address the leak of “Midnight Sun” publicly. I'm really looking forward to her appearance this Friday on Oprah. I am sure she'll talk about her Saga's move from page to big screen.
People.com is reporting that Meyer will not talk “Twilight” secrets but instead keep the interview more mainstream. However, Meyer will be answering questions about the “Twilight Saga” on the official website (www.thetwilightsaga.com) until noon Tuesday (Eastern Time).
