Summit Entertainment has OK’d the re-release of the first "Twilight" film to theaters. The film will be re-released in more than 2,000 theaters across the country and can be seen on November 19th. Just one day before the much anticipated release of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" fan-pires can get in the "zone" by seeing "Twilight" again on the big screen. No doubt it'll be (for most Twi-hards) the millionth viewing of the film, but fun nonetheless! It's always nice to see Edward on the big screen.
And in online news the trailer for "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" is breaking records. Last week alone the trailer was viewed 25 million times putting it at number one on the list of movie trailers viewed online. Coming in at second place was "Michael Jackson's This is It" with 2.3 million views. Wow, first place had 25 million views and second place had just 2.3 million? Just a hair under "New Moon," right? If that doesn't tell you this movie is going to break box office records I don't know what will.
With just 20 days and some odd hours in the countdown left we're finally getting close Twi-Lighters. I'd like to open up a little discussion this time. Of course we're all looking forward to the film’s release, but what about the big promotional tour for the film are you looking forward to the most? Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner on the Today show? The premier in L.A. on November 16th? Or maybe seeing more from Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz? I know I'm secretly hoping Stephanie Meyers comes out of hiding to give someone an interview. Have a happy Halloween Twi-fans. I hope you get bitten by your own special vampire!
